WOULD YOU DO EXAUST WHILE BULLET_PROOFING

Since I'm stepping up to keep and save my 6.0 with bullet proofing, would you put some after market exaust on while your making alot of changes??
I am also adding the EDGE INSIGHT and SCT-SP3 ..
If I add exaust -single- which kit works ?.. some imput would be appreciated

Your best bet for exhaust is MBRP. They sound great, perform awesome, and fit perfectly, and are priced very reasonably. 4" or 5" doesn't really matter unless your going to be installing a bigger turbo, injectors, etc, although I think the 5" sounds more throaty. The edge insight is an excellent choice. It will monitor everything you need it to and has a great user interface. As for the tuner, Im assuming your talking about the SF3. (you wrote SP3). I would get the SCT X3 and then get a custom tune. Your truck and especially your transmission will thank you down the road. Innovative and Quicktricks have some very good tunes for daily drivers. Yes your right-I meant SF3... So custom tune and and exaust would be a step up.. thanks

If your thinking of some performance tuning as well, you need the larger exhaust to help keep EGT's down and help the engine breath better. I'd suggest turbo back and no better time to do the upgrade as when your going to have everything apart. Make sure you install an EGT gauge as well to monitor those exhaust temps.

5" Turbo back with a CAT.. Jersey is a tough state with DMV-My truck a 10,000 pound vehicle is self inspect.But with DMV road checks all the time. And when you don't have a inspection sticker on the windshield, they love to pull you into a hour spot check. I would think I have to keep a cat in the system.?

You can gut one so it looks like you have one on there. Im in FL no inspection here so i dont have muffler or cat. Streight from turbo back.

Any kit that doesnt have a cat. Just get that cat off of there. Muffler is your preference. I had my MBRP muffler on my truck for about 4,000 miles before putting the test pipe in. There is a 6.0 that has a Magnaflow system that drives past my house. Sounds really good. Very mild compaired to my stright pipe but the tone is deep and controled.

The MBRP kit fits great. Turbo spools up a lot quicker without a cat.
