How awesome would it be to see an SVT SD
Insomnia and boredom conjured up this thought that at least one other person on this forum has thought of. Unfortunately I haven't see a thread so... I will be that ******* who posts it.
If Ford or an independent set of people pimped out a 6.0 SD and gave it the SVT badge, what would you expect it to have in it. Now I'm looking for a complete truck build from the frame up. Cab style, bed length, 2wd-4wd specific turbo, exhaust etc. etc. thought this would be fun, and who knows mabe someone has the money and time to make this one of a kind come true. I'll offer a suggestion. How about 2 variants, a slightly lowered shortbed ext cab dually and a slightly lifted 4 wheel truck. I haven't settled on cab config yet for the 4 wheel. Monochrome paint/bumpers/grill with a decent scooped or cowl-induction-style bulged hood.
It doesn't even need to be said, but a tune similar to SRL or so |

I like it the lowered short bed dually, now I have to ask just because I have never gotten a definitive answer, why wouldn't it be a good idea to put a supercharger instead of a turbo? I mean there should be enough power at idle to keep that thing spinning and it shouldn't cause that much strain, on top of that no lag.

You get more boost out of a turbo. Although it could be supercharged AND turbo'd

Standard cab, short bed, SRW, 2 wheel drive 6.0 auto. Little lower than stock, little wider than stock.
A lot of things would be 'stock': ARP head studs, egr delete, oil cooler, larger sticks, bigger turbo. |
