ScanGauge2 from BPD
First off love the site u guy know ur sh** here and help alot.Just got my scangauge from BPD..cant wait to hook it up..BPD pre-programmed it... so it should be plug and play..is there anything i should know before i plug it in? I know lots of guys use it and swear by it. Any tips would be great.. thx

You may have to program in the Xgauges. The ones from BPD come preloaded with the Xgauges for the 6.0L.

Ford Specific XGauges : Linear Logic : Home of the ScanGauge
There are what they call Xgauges that are specific data streams for different makes of vehicles. You can take the Scangauge and hook it to a Prius and get battery temp with the Xgauges. Or in this case programm the Xgauges for the Ford 6.0L. |

I bought the scangauge software with the ford upgrade package, is that what you are talking about?

Not sure what software comes with the Scangauge... Usually its just plug and play. Did you see the link I posted, maybe that will answer the questions? The Scangauge should just be plug and play.
