Exclamation What part is this? Need info ASAP!

I'm doing the oil cooler replacement on hers today. Just before taking out the oil cooler I noticed something that looks like its broken off in one of the holes on top of the oil filter housing base, so I need to know what goes here so I can run an get that part. In the picture the part I'm talking about is where the screwdriver is pointing. It's just a round boss, I can't tell if it's threaded inside yet until I get whatever's in it out.

It's just to the right (standing in front of the engine) of the ERG supply port cover.

Relax. That thing is just a plastic piece used under the wiring harness to hold the harness in place. It ain't nothin....

Ok, how about this one. While we were taking everything apart I found this laying in the intake valley. I don't know if its some part from a previous failure or what. I don't remember seeing anything like this during disassembly. For size reference that's a 13mm socket beside it.

My guess is its just something someone dropped down there and couldnt get out
