Can of whoop ***! Video!
Let me lay down what went on prior.
I left work at 12am, about 1/4 mile from work is the first red light. Now this red light tends to be a long one, so I'm sitting there waiting for the green light and I see these head lights in my rear view coming up behind be. I could tell it was another truck by the clearance lights and side mirror marker lights. He comes to a stop right up to my rear bumper and starts to goose the throttle, it sounded good (possibly straight piped). Now out in front of me is a bridge, then right after the bridge I usually make a right turn to head home, NOT TONIGHT!! Our light turns green, start going over the bridge and he's right on my bumper. We get over the bridge and the single lane turns into a side by side left turn at the red light. I get to the left lane, and he pulls into the right lane with his tinted window half way down. I look over and he's nodding his head, so I nod back. The light turns green for us to make the left, I pull out fairly easy because I know I'll go sideways if I throttle it too much. He on the other hand lays on the skinny pedal half way thru the turn, once we get straighten out, I throttle into the go pedal and take off in front of him because the double lane necks down to a single about 100yrds ahead. So now I'm cruising in front, he's back behind me about one truck length. I know and he knows that this single lane turns into a double lane to head to the 422 by-pass. We get to the double lane, and I can hear him hit the pedal, so I lay into it, but can only hold it for so long because there is traffic about 200yrds in front of me. We get off the throttle, I'm in front of him far enough to get around the traffic. About 1/4 mile I front of us is the on ramp for 422, I hit my turn signal to get on the ramp and he follows. We get to the top of the ramp and I take the left lane, he takes the right lane. Now we're clear, no traffic in front of us, and now the first video will show what happened. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cV-eB...2&feature=plcp The second video shows that he's a good sport, the horns actually scared me and made me jump. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nWFPY...1&feature=plcp |

I love seeing this stuff! Seems like I only get people wanting to run em when I'm in one of our slower vehicles, then find myself thinking, dang it if only I had my truck right now!!! Haha

Nice!
I just had a similar run in with a 6.0l the other day. His truck was straight piped and definitely tuned. Whatever tuner he was running couldn't keep up with my SRL though.

Yhea, my horn sucks!!! I've got what's needed for an onboard air system sitting in the garage, just waiting to come across K5LA or K3LA Nathans for cheap. I even went to the point of machining my own housing based on the Nathan design, just need to get their disc's and rubber gasket to make it louder. |

It would of been nice to know what this guy was running and talk shop with him. Maybe I'll see him some other time.

Thanks, just because she's a little chunky in the hips, don't mean she can't run LOL! Actually she only weighs a little more than the CC SRW LB models.
