flush or wait

Just picked up a 2006 f250 with 78k miles at a great price. All reports are clean and truck appears to be completely stock. Truck came with a 1 year warannty covering 50% of all repair costs. My dilemma is if I should flush and replace with elc or wait till my year is up? Ford gold is still in it and and probably original to truck. I am afraid if I do a flush and it clogs my oil cooler they will know I caused it and not cover me. Other way I can look at it is if I do get a clog I may end up with a new cooler at half price. What would you do? I am getting a insight for Christmas so flush would be after that when I can moniter things better.

Well to save your warranty after you get the Edge check your deltas, 15* or more your cooler are toast around 10* starting to get plugged so get the Edge if good do a Restore flush then a Restore+ flush and go back with the Gold JUNK run for a year then do a Restore flush and go with the ELC coolant the only reason for this because you have warranty. I still have 3 years left on my warranty but i got mine with 17k on it deltas were 4* did both flushes 1/2 gallon Restore and 1/2 gallon Restore+ 48 gallons of distilled water 1/4 tank of fuel and 12.5hrs of my time and still have 4* deltas so is it a gamble yes but if i had waited 6 years it would have been toast even flushing every 30k i think because it pulls my 14k 5er 90% of the time the Gold junk can't take the heat plus they are not grocery getters they are made to work and build boost or you will have trouble with the egr valve and turbo.

Making the decision to flush is gonna be a tough one. Don't want to cause any problem that wasn't there.

Why don't you just talk to the Service Mgr. and see what they say? If he says they'll cover it if it goes, do the flush now.
