High Mileage 6.0

I'll start off by saying that I've had my 05 6.0 for a year and a half and I love it. My dad says its time for him to trade in his OBS 7.3 and get another diesel. I let him drive my truck and he says that he thinks he'd be happy with something like a 6.0. Well it just so happens a guy down the road has a 06 crewcab fx4 with 190k miles for 15k bucks. He asked my opinion about it and I told him I would check out the truck for him, but the mileage thing kind of startled me. What do you guys think about getting a 6.0 that already has that many miles on it???

When I bought mine it had 181k, completely stock. Now it has 191k and the mods in my sig. Just need to get your Sct livewire and plug it in to the truck and see the health. You will not lose an unlock as long as you don't tune it.

Haha I have warned him that he might not get a 6.0 that is as good to him as mine has been. His 7.3 has 253k hard miles on it and its starting to show. He can't justify dropping 1500 bucks into a $3500 truck.

try and jew him down a bit and i think it would be a good deal. i have 265k on my 6.0 on stock hgs so these things can make it there

i bought mine with 224,000 im at 228,900 right now no problems bought it stock never any egr or head problems

Made 350k with my 06 dually before it threw the cam and turbo wish I would have found this site before that

I think he is asking to much for the truck. Don't know where your from,
but I think it a little high.

It is too high, bought mine with 193,000 tuned it and havnt looked back stock everything nothing on the oasis. If its been taken care of no worries these trucks are beasts and will last
