Cold truck go slow?

So this has happened twice. Started the truck when it was pretty cold (15* or so) and it hadn't been plugged in. I was in a bit of a hurry both times, so it didn't really warm up for very long. When I put it in gear (once in R and once in D) and give it a little throttle, the RPMs go up but the truck just barely creeps. Once it warmed up it seemed fine. Anyone else ever seen this? Is this just cold tranny fluid? Or a sign of something?

Put 5w40 in it. Check your FICM voltage.
