i just purchased my gauge for a 2006 ford f250.. and was wondering what should i keep an eye on ..and how to view my temps

ECT (which could already be in there as f*WT), EOT, all 3 FICMs(mainly FMP) And test your FICM in the mornings. TFT, Volts. DTC.

Mainly I run ECT,EOT, volts, FMP. Then after the truck is started I put up Boost, but you have a boost gauge in your dash which is good. Then I just play around looking at things. When towing I have TFT instead of volts.

The DTC code is good to check every once in a while. Counts pending codes, if there are any. I had read that Scangauge had developed the new SGII with the capabilty to read pending codes, so if you see a count of 1 or more, scan for codes. Pending codes will not throw a CEL.

For all your gauge needs go to the Scangauge website and look in the Xgauge section and enter the codes you want. Once you do a couple it gets real easy. JUST MAKE SURE YOU TRIPLE CHECK YOUR ENTRIES!

No, it will not, and it wont read EGTs either.

The Edge Insight will if you buy it with all the fittings and adapters. it can also read EGTs with the probe also. Not sure what folks are paying for all the extra goodies +the Edge Insight.

Thanks !! I really want EGT's and Fuel Press. too!! To bad cause I like all the other things with the scangauge.

Well, price it out (the Edge Insight complete) Then check for a dual pillar pod gauge set up for your fuel pres, and EGTs and the price of the Scangauge, see what you come up with. (More my curiosity than anything else!)

i am going to test my FICM but which one do i test there is a "logic" power and a "main" power.. and where should my FICM number be
