Broken injector clips?
While doing an EGR delete on the little woman's F250, I got the harness bound and snapped the connector off of the injector. The plug and pins are all fine, but it broke a couple of the little plastic ears off of the injector that the metal clip hooks onto.
I REALLY don't want to have to buy a new injector. Do you think a guy could use some high temp silicone? Plug the harness into the injector then put a layer of silicone over the outside to hold the two together. Looks like once it fully cured it wold work since there's nothing pulling on the injectors, just vibration. Last edited by code.mafia; 12-12-2011 at 06:10 AM. |
