Something unplugged?
I have a 2003 f350. My driver side headlight went out and while replacing the bulb I noticed alittle white box with an empty plug connector. The connector is at the bottom of the box and the box is approx. 2-3 inches long and 1.5 inches wide and .5 inches thick. This appears to be the only place to connect anything to it. It is bolted right in front of the airbox next to the radiator on the front of the truck. After replacing the bulb I found the wire that was supposed to be connected and cleaned it up and attached it like it should be.
My question is; What is this for? And What harm would there be not having it connected? Thanks Q. |

A picture would be nice. Just looked on my truck and don't see a white box.

crappy pics.
Here are some crappy pics but they were with my phone and they suck.
I it bolted to the front of the truck just up and towards the center from where my drivers light plug goes. It only has one plug going into the bottom. The box is white, but it has a black metal frame around it. almost like its for protection. I have been searching like crazy and can't find any info on what this is. In the third pic, the hose on the right is the small airbox hose that runs from towards the battery and into the fender. Last edited by QMartinez; 12-11-2011 at 12:53 PM. |
