I bought a 05 F-350 4x4 CC with 121,000 miles on it, its all stock ecept for K and N filter and a streight exaust. I've been seeing everyone recomend the T-6 oil and im really thinking hard on using it. I live in South Dakota where it butt cold in the winter and balls hot in the summer. Can I use the 5-40 year long or just in the winter? It has 15-40 now and seems to do fine. What kind of MPG should i get with the stock set-up? Im getting 18.6 doing 65mph in the Black Hills. Where can i get a report on any service work? Would i have to go to the dealer or is there a website i can go to?
Thanks for the help

Well to start the K&N is not well liked on most PSD forums they just let in a lot of dirt the stock air intake is about as good as they come good to 500hp the T-6 will work year round max is 5000mi because of the shear of the oil by the injectors use ONLY Ford or Racor filter on everything and don't go by the Lie-O-Meter the most is get is 18.4 solo 9 pulling a 14K 5er and you will have to take the Vin to Ford and see if they will run an Oasis Report on it, run cetane boost in the fuel and keep good batteries in it because if they go bad or get weak they will take out the FICM cost $1100 Ford repair your $300 at a number of different places. Get a good set of gauges like the Edge Insight CTS because you will need them need to check the spread on ECT-EOT max 15* also a coolant filter a must on a 6.0 along with a fuel pressure gauge under 45lbs at WOT will kill injectors and the list goes on.
