Just got my CTS today... Quick question?
Just received my CTS today and can't wait to get it hooked up to check the vitals of my newly purchased truck. My question is: Is it a necessity to first hook it up to a computer and download the latest updates from the Fusion software? Will it work fine if I don't? I only own a mac and the disc is not compatible. go figure. I'll probably need to hook it up to a buddies PC at some point to update it. Anyone know if there is a way to make it compatible with my mac as well? Thanks for any info and I'll post my vitals if anything is out of whack.

When I got mine, I immediately had to update it to get the FICM volt readings, and a couple other things I think, but mainly, the FICM. I got mine about 5ish months ago, so it might already be on yours if you just bought it. The main stuff is there though.

Yeah, all the major things will be there. They may have just added some more that won't appear.

I don't think they offer any mac products, but you may be able to run a WinXP in a virtual setup on your mac. Sometimes they are a pain for USB support, but should be able to get it to work. Try virtual box if you have a copy of XP sitting around.
