Rising Fuel Pressure??

Noticed over the past several months, that my fuel pressure gauage has been reading higher than normal. usually, it is dead on 60 psi, but recently has started to show 65 and occasionaly spiking up to 70. Is this anything to be concerned with or is this most likely a guage or sending unit going bad. is there anything mechanichal that would cause rising fuel pressure?

Could be the gauge, but could also be combustion gasses beginning to leak backwards into the fuel. Any performance or power issues lately?

No performance or power issues, But did just recently have the truck apart for hg's. seemed to notice problem shortly after, and the FP seems to go higher on looney tune compared to tow tune. how do combustion gases leak back into the fuelgetting a little scared.....

A bad injector will allow combustion gasses back into the fuel system.

You might try getting a fuel pressure regulator kit - yours might be sticking. The brass plunger can wear and then stick.
