When Should I consider someone a dead beat seller

So I purpose a question to everyone, and this I think is good for all of us to get a consensus.

When should you on the forum consider someone a dead beat seller? How long after they receive payment should they ship the item? And how long of them ignoring your communication is unreasonable? I ask this because I am dealing with someone on the forum over this, and want to give them a fair shake. Even after they tried pulling "I never got your money order" good thing I had delivery conformation and kept my money order receipt #.

My situation is the person got payment on the 13th, I emailed him 3 days after asking when it might ship. Got nothing back, emailed again 7 days no response emailed again at 10 days again at 13. No replies, and he has been on the forum multiple times....

All help would be great.

Release the hounds on him already! It's unacceptable the first time you noticed he signed on here and didn't respond...

Not that much but is more or less the common courtesy, and general good faith not to use a good public forum to scam people. It give the forum a bad wrap when it is such a great forum. This is my final draw before I contact his local authorities, mine, and the feds because the transaction took place VIA mail which falls under cross state commerce. Also is federal mail fraud and to top it was a postal money order insured by the fed.

I would also have already done something, I am fairly new around here but have sold a ton of stuff elsewhere over the internet. The most someone should not ship something is over a weekend. I always mail the day or the next day that I receive payment. If there is something preventing that I always let the person know. Communication is the key.

Well here is a update. Now that I got the Admin and Mods involved he finally sends a message. Stating sorry he has been working so much he can't mail it and will get it out as soon as possible. I work allot but no one works 16 days straight..... he could covenantly cash the money order in 2 days but could not mail it..... Now wants me ti wait until Monday before it ships....

It would be nice to know who it is... just so others don't end up in the same boat as you.
I certainly would not want to buy something from him now, it's just not worth taking a chance if you can avoid it.
