Early 04?

What is the cut off date for someone to classify their 6.0 as Early 04 / Late 04.

What are the differences? Were there corrections to the later model?

I don't know for sure but my 04 was built in 09/03 so mine is an early 04. I think if it was built in 04 then its a late 04. There are a few differences that I know of. The early 04 has the better turbo but also has the darn IPR sensor behind the turbo. Were you looking for something specific to your truck? What's your hold date?

I am looking at a truck that has a date of 06/04. Just wanted to know if there were any improvements for some of the issues that may / may not come with this motor.

Well, I would call that a late 04 for sure. one big improvment is the placement of the ICP, not the IPR, moved from the back and to a more useful spot on the passnger side valve cover I believe.
