Whole fuel pump vs lift pump?

So it is about time for a fuel pump since it is hitting dangerous levels at WOT, its good otherwise.

I was looking for new fuel pumps on fleabay and found the whole thing for ~300 or just a new lift pump for almost half.

Any difference going this route over replacing the whole thing?

Never heard of that, either factory replacement, an airdog, or fass is all I know of. Neither is cheap, but almost guranteed.

Due to all of the failures I have been hearing about with the AirDog and FASS setups, I have decided I am not going that route. This thing just supposedly replaces the pump inside of our OEM housing so that we dont have to replace the whole thing.
