Thumping sound when i turn on A/C
Just started this morning but when i turn my A/C on i have this thumping sound coming from under the passengers side dashboard. It sounds like someone hitting the drums, thump thump thump thump, over and over. Has anyone experienced this same problem before, if so what was it?

My 2000 does it. When the vent control is off, the blend doors are closed. You switch it to AC it opens the intake on the cowl and changes to vents only. But it only thumps once.

Yea i dont know, mine just sounds like a drum beat. It doesnt sound like anything is in the blower fan though. I'ver had trash in the blower fan on my old S-10 and this sounds nothing like that. I guess if i get a chance this weekend i will take it apart to investigate. I will let you guys know what i find.
