My warranty just went out. And my degass bottle has white on it. Mustve happened last weekend towing trailer home. Anyhow im lucky got 2 buddes are dealer diesel mechanics which both tried to get me to go in when I had warranty but i didnt feel right doing that sense i was having no problems. crap wish I woulda known it was gonna do it right after warranty.
Were gonna do it in a week or so, im gonna headstud it egr delete oil cooler,and clean turbo, anything i can do to turbo while I have it off and apart? port it? maybe ceramic coat it? my dealer buddies only like doing dealer stuff but do like the aftermarket turbos but my bill gonna be enough for now.doing the new stc fitting already did fuel spring, i have new plugs for oil rail. im gonna do bed plate while its out. any other ideas? I already have sct,srl tune, 4inch exhaust, k&n intake.swamps ficm58v,php programming.

Browns diesel has arp's the cheapest that I know of so far.

There is a upgraded wheel for both the stock and Powemax turbo, batmowheel.

You should do a coolant flush, and pur in ELC or EC-1 rated coolant.

Yeah well do the flush while we're there. Don't have a lift at home so just gonna pull motor.
Do you have to rebalance the wheel when you put the new one on? Ill look at browns. I get 25% off at dealer so gonna use there gaskets and oil cooler. I guess a sinister egr block off. Sucks truck only has 88k on it. The pervious owner didn't do good maintenance.

You do not need to pull the motor to do that work.

You take the wheel off, and put the new wheel on.

He pulls them to do haedstuds. His garage and hes helping me for free. Not gonna argue with him lol but were gonna do bed plate also. I just want to deal with this once. Where do you get the wheel at?
