Just did an egr delete/oil cooler replacement and need to know the torque specs for the new up pipe to the exhaust manifold bolts as well as driver side exhaust manifold to y pipe bolts.
Just make sure everything is lined up first that is the most important thing. I didnt follow any torque specs but just tighten them and dont break them.
I never even thought of looking for torque specs for exhaust. I did the same as you, tight but not over tight. Tight enough to make sure there isn't an exhaust leak, and DO NOT leave the metal gasket out of the y-pipe to up-pipe connection on the passenger side......
Thanks for the replys, just worried about leaks so wanted to be sure I got them tight enough.
Everything lined up well and gasket is between up pipe and y pipe.
Thanks again,
Eric
