which warranty 2yr extra or 4yr base?

Im having a hard time deciding between the 2yr extra care or the 4yr base care. I don't know if the base care covers the oil and ego cooler. Anyone have experience with either of the two? Pros and cons of both... thanks

I spent a long time comparing and went with the ExtraCare 4 yr 48,000 mi, already have had the alternator and head gaskets replaced with no questions. I found out the last time the truck was in the shop that my FICM is going bad but the extra care does not cover that. If I had to do it over I think I would spend the extra couple hundred bucks for the PremiumCare. IMO the ESP warranty is well worth it for 6.0 and mine has paid for itself already.

with the mileage and the year of my truck ( 05 98k) I can only get a 1yr premium 2yr extra or 4yr base.... I bought the truck and the egr and oil coolers were replaced at 77k but if I purchased the 4yr base and they went out again would the dealer allow me to buy the egr delete or it probably matter wh;ich dealer i take it to....

I opted for a 4 year premium care which will take me til 2015. I figured it was worth the price for what can go wrong on a 6.0. It has saved me a few bucks already.

well, If i buy the 2 yr exta, it will cover injectors and the 4yr won't. or I can buy the 4yr and have 2 extra years of coverage incase i blow a headgasket and if i have injector problems just pay out of pocket. the only reason I'm worried about injectors is because when its really cold my truck misses for a few seconds then clears up. i don't know if that is an injector or glow plug... thanks guys
