h&s or SCT for my 6.0

Counting down the days till my 6.0 and I are road tripping to Alligator performance in Coeur d'alene, idaho.... I am having it "bulletproofed" or darn near, I am struggling on which tuner I want, I like the H&S for the gauges and shift on the fly< but it sounds like SCT has the most experience with the 6.0??? which one will I be happier with... just doing all of this for longevity and reliability.. the gauges is huge to me... but which one will be better all around and for my tranny?

edge cs or cts insight is awesome for gauges and whats nice is it works any any vehicle with a obd 2 port so if you sell the truck and get something else u can use it on it or lend it to a friend to check his vehicle out or take it to buy used cars to pull up any codes its throwing. and it also works great with the sct x3 which will tune your truck for real cheap. get some custom tunes and the truck will fly. not much experience around here with the h&s on a 6.0. im sure more will chime in and influence you to go with the insight/sct combo.

i like the sct i leave it on 65 hp tow setting at all times,transmission always shifts smooth

While the allure of shift-on-the-fly tuning is enticing, the transmission on the Super Duty cant be tuned on the fly. This situation puts it at risk when you try and modify power settings, etc, by potentially putting more stress on the transmission than is safe.

The consensus here is use an Edge Insight CS/CTS for monitoring and an SCT tuner with custom tunes so as to assure the highest level of performance and the safest operation of the truck.

The big thing with sct is, the custom tuners have fooled with the 6.0 so long, they have the tunes dialed in to where it just plain works, plus there are quite a few people who can live tune with it as well. The H&S is neat, but you are not getting anymore power with it vs sct. And loading a tune is not that big of a pain.

But, I wonder is there are tranny files like for the 6.4. the tranny's didn't change that much I don't believe. I would call H&S and talk to them about that.

I'm sure they have something in the tuning to keep from having dodge power syndrome.

I would trust them leaps and bounds over any of the common stuff(edge, superchips, banks,etc...)
