Reprograming 6.0s pcm

Well i finally got a superduty. 2005, regular cab, 6speed, 4x4. Winkler flatbed, ranch hand grill guard, full k&n. 86k miles.

Tonight i ordered:

Antifreeze (not fords junk)
Trans oil
Both turbo lines
Egr delete kit
Blue fuel spring kit

soon to be ordered:
coolant filter
gauges

Its had its ford antifreeze changed out once by ford so thats good. No signs of hg failure, clean sharp truck, brand new tires and batteries. Auto hubs work just like new, turbo exceeds my expectations.

Its good to be ford again.

Anyways ima get the pcm or computer reprogramed, or whatever you want to call it. All the egr stuff will be deleted, and it will be programed to run without it. I will have the a/f curve modded. What else should i have done? Will the stock tty bolts hold another 100 horses? Any other tree hugger programs in the pcm?

Oh, btw- I'd do an exhaust... it would go nicely with the other mods you have planned.

4" turbo backs start out at around $260+.
You can also get delete pipes for the cat and muffler, total out to be $120+.

I do not have first hand experience with the K&N on the 6.0 but it has a very bad rap. The oem is praised and it should be, the stock air filter is truly great and preferred.

SCT is the only tuner that should be used for the 6.0L. Custom tunes are also best.

The head bolts will not last long once tuning is involved. That is if you push the throttle past the stock HP numbers.
