CTS Readings

Well, I got my CTS yesterday and immediately started playing with it. I'm just curious about some of y'all's readings on your Edge Monitors. Could some of y'all post the values that your device puts out? I have mine displaying FICM, Bat V, EOT, ECT, TFT, Boost, Gear/Tq Lock, Injector Pressure. Just wondering if all of my figures are in line with everyone elses.

FICM- 47-48
Bat V- 12-12.9
EOT-
ECt- within 3-4 degrees of one another
TFT- haven't been very far yet
Injector Pressure- 580-680

Also, can you only use a custom background with the analogue display? I'm using the 8 guage so I can see more. Thanks y'all!

For daily driving, I have these on my 8 gauge setup:

EGT
Bat V
FICM V
ECT
EOT
TFT
Boost PSI
IAT

For towing, I use my AutoEnginuity to datalog most of these readings, but sometimes I switch them up. Your readings look fine.

I noticed just now that my ICP is 580-680 at idle and close to 3000 or so accelerating.

Boy this cool weather is something else. I drove 25 miles last night after letting my truck warm up for 5 minutes or so and my ECT and EOT never got above 170. My trans temp was about 150... Do y'all's trucks run this cool?

Sounds like you might have a bad thermostat. ECT should be around 190*. What were outside temps when you were driving around?

I took the van out last night to pick up some things (maybe 20 miles of driving, if that) and it hit 190 within the first ten minutes, and that's with the ambient temperature outside at 32F (0C). I'd say you have a bad thermostat too.

Well right at the minute it is not serious but diesels do not like to run cool or cold get a t/stat drain out about 1 gallon of coolant t/stst and o-ring it is a push and twist to remove from housing then replace the coolant then you should have some real good numbers then if you haven't flushed out the Gold need to get that on the list
