how many miles
What kind of miles could I get out of my 6.0 if I do the bullet proof kit and keep it stock. I plan on doing the flush and switching to cat elc too.
My truck is a 2007 f250 6.0 with an auto trans. I have edge CTS now but totally stock other than that. Im very particular with maintenance and take good care of my truck. Im just curious what you guys think I can get out of my truck before I have problems. |

i have the same setup, and just had both my coolers replaced under warranty. i'm at 75,000 with a coolant filter newly installed. I'm hoping to get over the 200k mark and will be switching to the ELC coolant soon.
i've seen and read about a lot of these trucks going the distance with proper maintenance. |

I was. I had 14-16* difference for about 2 weeks (running 65 mph on the highway) and took it into my dealer. They didn't even think twice and had the new coolers installed within 2 days. I'm switching to the Rotella T6 synthetic this weekend and hope to upgrade to the "blue spring" very soon!
I'm weighing my options of doing a coolant flush and fill with the ELC as my warranty isn't up until March of 2012. |

Your truck will last a very long time with good maintenance and health cooling system. I can understand you wanting to upgrade the egr cooler. But the OEM oil cooler will last the truck as long as the coolant system is in good shape, and it will be since you are flushing it and using quality coolant.
