Is this normal?
Driving into work this morning my truck did something it has never done. I was going up an up hill on ramp - I floored it - the terubo went to 27psi and then it down shifted into 2nd and the turbo dropped to 23 psi and I heard a lot pop noise from under the hood - I let off the throttle - then slowing got back on it and the turbo was at 0 psi? this lasted for about 8-10 seconds then went away and turbo is fine. Is this normal? Did I let off too fast and hurt something? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Sounds like the veins are sticking, probably needs a good cleaning and actuator ring

Has your motor changed sounds? Hiss? Still have power, but not as much as you are used too?
Check your CAC boots. Usually a load pop is the boots. |

sounds like the turbo is sticking. the overboost may have blown the EGR valve open for a second
