You would need a tuner that is capable of "reading" the strategy programming number such as an SCT. Basically, there are two 'strategies.' The ECM and FICM. You can change both by contacting Power Hungry Performance.
Power Hungry Performance - FICM Reprogramming Your custom tune writer will need to know what strategy you have to write the tunes for you. |

Post up what you found. There should be three sets of numbers/letters

VXCF4H2
TQCJ0H3 |

The VXCF4H2 is the ECM strategy
I am not completely sure about the TQCJ0H3, but I think that is the FICM. |

Thank you for clearing that up, mudrunninpig. I'm still learning this whole "strategy" stuff.
The VXCF4 strategies seem to be the preferred strategies. You probably will not need to do a "rollback" on that, though PHP can install a flash tune on top of it and disable the egr commands. They can also install a FICM tune. If your end result is that you just want to get rid of a code generated by an egr cooler delete, the ECM flash to disable the egr functions might be the way to go (cheaper than a tuner/custom tune). |
