When I got out of my truck tonight and closed the door and then locked them, about 30 seconds later I heard a boom coming from the inside. It sounded like a large amount of air being realeased. I did some further testing and the closing/opening of the door had nothing to do it. If I unlocked the door with the remote and then locked them, about 30 seconds would go by and it would do it again. I popped the hood and it is very obvious that the noice is coming from the interior. I sat in the truck and it appears to be coming from the driver's side door speaker/pedal area.
Any ideas? I cannot get the problem to recreate. I have never even heard this sound before or heard of anything like this before. |

Thanks! I was just getting ready to flip it to a new one too! That picture was at the Jason Aldean concert this summer. I was hammered.

No, but it did sound very similar to a speaker blowing.

Maybe it happens around the time your interior lights shut off after locking the truck? I know on one of my old guitar amps when I turn it off it fades out and then pops...

Maybe your truck is a transformer and that's it's way of communicating with bumble bee?
Yea, I don't have anything to help address the issue... But would like to know once you get it figured out. -Matt H Sent from my Autoguide iPhone app |
