Custom or quality pwr steering hose/pump

Is there an aftermarket upgraded pwr steering pump out there anywhere?

Is there a place to purchase an upgraded pressure side power steering hose, or is getting a custom hose the way to go?


Here is my story, my original pump died. Pump #1 died in 3miles, Pump #2 worked ok but the housing cracked and leaked, Pump #3 works but in wines, I have replace the pressure side hose but it still leaks throught the fitting that ties into the pump. Any help would be very helpfull!!

Ford pumps or aftermarket pumps? If they are aftermarket and they are Cardone pumps, not much of a surprise as most of their stuff is junk anymore. Fenco makes reman pumps, but I'd really try ford if you havent already.

Ford uses remans too, they do not sell new pumps. That is in Canada anyway. I'll look into Fenco.

I thought I seen upgraded pwr steering hoses somehwere one time.

Some hydraulic shops can make PS hoses, depends on the fittings.
