Trans longevity?

Well at 196K my trans specificaly the torque converter took a dump on me. Luckly I was able to fine a low milage replacement out of a poor low milage wrecked HD edition for cheap. Truck should be done today and back on the road.

But currious as to how long these first gen torque shift transmisions are lasting? Who has the most miles on there original (not rebuilt) trans?

Many around me with 200 or more. A friends went out at 50 but that was his fault doing stupid towing stuff.
