When do i add rev-x?
My truck is my user name. Shes got 228,000 miles and ive put on maybe 1,500 miles since my last oil/oil filter change (shell rotella conventional 15-40). I always run xdp power plus with every tank of fuel. What would adding rev-x to the oil do? Can i add it to my oil now? I dont know a whole lot about the stuff. But my motor has some time on it and im sure it can use a little help on internal cleaning, or whatever the hell it does

You can add now or on your next oil change. I would add now and change in 4000 miles.

Unless you are experiencing a problem there is no need to use Rev-X.

I use it every oil change. Even if you don't have an issue it helps prevent. But its kinda pricey if there isn't a need for it.

Even if you dont have an issue...try it. It will change how it starts. Its weird!

Best place to get the info is from their site REV-X and you can order it from there too. |

it works pretty good and my guess is with 220k + miles you will notice a differemce if you add it now

You will see a difference when you add it with that many miles.

You would be doing your truck a big favor by switching to a 5w40 synthetic like the T6 too.
