ANY ELC style coolant that meets the CAT EC-1 rating is the best coolant you can buy for your 6.0 (you will need 4 gallons of the concentrated form, NO premix)
Napa carries a Zerex ELC product that is CAT EC-1 rated. They may not stock it, but can order it for you. If you have an International truck dealer close by, they sell the Fleetrite brand ELC, and is what they put in their version of this engine. |

The absolute best you can buy is the new Rotella Ultra ELC but it can be hard to find. Second behind that is Delo, and then all the rest.

NAPA AUTO PARTS
Will this be the best alternative to ford gold coolant in my 6.0 I just had arp studs and gaskets done with new oil cooler and egr delete at truck source diesel want to order this ELC heavy duty to finosh to product should I |

No, you can not use that one that you lined to. That particular one is a premixed. Look at the lower left of the bottle, it clearly states "ready to use, do not add water."
You need the concentrated form. |

Truck Source Diesel is waiting for my call back on which coolant for them to put in and im getting frustrated as they are because I keep getting the wrong part number to them because I am ignorant to this.. I need the best ELC COOLANT for my 6.0 from Napaonline.com apparently napa will drive the part to them so i dont have to. and they can deal with it all directly and add it to the bill.

So that rotella yellow stuff is ok for our trucks? I almost grabbed it at the international dealer. Parts guy said the fleetrite stuff but its pre diluted. Should I go back and get the rotella?

Other than cost, why couldn't you use that? It may save some tech from filling the rest of the system with tap water rather than distilled water. Just curious.
