straight pipe 06 6.0

I was wondering what the effect might be if i straighed piped my 6.0? i already have the cat taken off but wanted to know what it would be like to just have it straight from turbo back with 4' piping. I know emissions wise it will be harder to get inspected but i have a guy that goes all of our trucks. what are the pro's and cons?

Im running straight pipe on mine 05 6.0L. Sounds pretty sick with the pedal mashed. I kept the cat on it for emission reasons. Im about to throw on a 4'' turbo back exhaust, but i'd still have to keep the cat.....gay...

Do you HAVE to have a muffler for inspection where you are? I just had my inspection done, here in CO, and I have no muffler and a stack. I put the cat back on for the inspection, but not having a muffler wasn't an issue.
