Considering putting the cat back on

I have an 04 6.0 with a 4 inch exhaust from the turbo back with no muffler/cat. Once the Rpms get to around 2200 there is a serious drone, which is pretty badass, but its starting to get annoying. What whould putting the cat on do sound wise? And what negative effect on performance? I have a cat delete pipe in place right now. Thanks

You need a resonator. I got mine from fte and it kills the drone without hurting flow. I had mine on for a short while but changed up my exhaust and went to a stack.

did you try just putting a 4" muffler in instead of the muffler delete pipe? my neighbor has a muffler and it is noticeably quieter than our 6.0's hahahaha
