How many quarts do I need if only draining trans pan. 03 Torqshift. These jerks will only tell me total system capacity. They must know, just want to sell more juice. Is it available elsewhere? thanks!

I have an 06 and put in 8qts, I assume they are the same pan

I did this just the other day. 8 - 9 qts will cover it.

just got to it today, 9qts. thats all i had, ended up bout 1/2 qt short. thanks for the help!

alldata says 7.5 but that is just a drain and fill.... did you use mercon sp?
