Truck shuts when moving plow?
So we had a snow storm here in MD last week. So I decided to pull my plow out of the backyard and put it on the driveway. Once I got it all hooked up and tried to raise it the truck shuts off . This happened 2-3 time raising it and another 2 times lowering it in my driveway. I took my meter and checked voltage at my alternator and was only getting 12.6 volts . I took that alternator to NAPA . They tested it and it failed. I put my new one on today drove it around for 20-30 mins came home , hooked up the plow and the truck shut off again. Anyone have any clue what the problem is? Thanks for reading.

yes, napa alternator, go get a ford one (out of the ambulance package its 140v vs 110v) do you have a volt meter? are you loosing all power when you try to raise or lower it?

Have you checked all your ground connections, especially on the pass side where the neg cable gets bolted to the front of the engine block by the AC compressor.
