Just did the high idle mod

I must say once I found the wires it was probably the easiest 30 minutes I have had in a while. I solder and heat shrinked the jumper in also since I don't plan on removing it.

Although that is not the link I used it is almost identical to what was in the link. The soldering was my own thing, I don't like crimp connectors if I can avoid using them.
Oh and no kit required I had some spare wire laying around the house and a whole mess of heat shrink of various sizes.
