Auto trans indicator on dash in gauge cluster

The orange needle. It dropped down to one 1 and won't move any more. How bad is it to fix. Are the gauge clusters sealed? Anyone deal with this before? Thanks to any an all responses. Dominic

what year? i know on obs there is a little cable that goes from the shifter to the pointer that is accesible.

my 03 is the same way, my plastic bracket broke, it is now held with a zip tie. It also has a threaded ajustment to line it up right, just pull the lower cover under the steering wheel, and you should be able to look up and see it.

All right, easy fix, the cable just popped off the hook. Thanks Dominic
