really soft start(SRL)

Anyone else have a really soft start with the SRL tune? I do not really like it. I would rather have it fire up. When warm it does this and like starts and then rolls to idle. rather have it sound mean and fire up. Does not do this stock or with any of my other tunes. Anyone else encounter this?

I have that same problem, Mine does not do it in the morning after sitting all night but does it after sitting in the sun all day at work it does it every time, I was not sure what was causing it. but I would like it fixed. I agree it does sound funny when it starts up that way.

yea. I wish mine started like a cold start everytime but it does not. Does not sound too healthy at all. WIsh it would just fire up. Am almost embarrased to start the truck when its warm thats how bad it is.

funny thing is I didnt think it had anything to do with the srl tune since it only did it after the truck sat in the sun all day at work? again it starts just fine in the mornings. lets see who else has this problem.

It's supposed to start just like stock. Much better for the truck compared to other big tunes that don't pull back any fuel for cold starts. Notice how there is no smoke on startup with the SRL... Go back to those other high HP tunes (not mentioning any names) and see how much smoke is emitted. Too much fuel on startup.

mine does not do that with my idp tune or stock though that is why I think it is in the tune

I like it that way. My whole garage doesn't smell like diesel anymore.

Mine starts like stock 75% of the time with only a very little bit of smoke , its the time it sits at work that it starts funny.
