Coolant,trans service
Hello i just picked up a 06 250 cc with 48k on it and want to do a coolant flush,i work at cummins,on the generator side and we have some restore flush that works great that i want to use and the fleetguard coolant,anyone used either?? i have ph strips i can test with and add DCA if needed.
also im gonna service the trans, anybody use rev-x i their trans?? is it worth it?? |

I listen to BTS..never flush..drop the pan change the filters and add fluid every 30k. If you have a pre '08 replace the pan and stupid screen with a real filter and the '08 up pan.

yeah i had planned on dropping the pan,i didnt know about the 08-up stuff Thanks!!

I have an 08 pan....holds a bit more fluid...but also allows the use of the upgraded trans filter that is better.....I got a Mag Hytec pan off ebay for cheap....if you decide you want one hit me up w offer, its currently just sitting in my garage.
