Smokin tires in 3rd gear
I was playing on the way home from work yesterday, when I put my truck in third gear it will actually take off in third and not shift. Well taking off in third from a dead stop and going WOT will produce a LOT of black smoke, then all of a sudden my truck started spinning the rear tires and getting sideways. :drive: :burnout Man I was really impressed that it would do that taking off and staying in 3rd gear. Just thought I'd share.

yeah ford is a little different that way. most vehicles in 2nd will start in second for when you have a low traction issue or snow etc... but most will go back to normal action when in 3rd, and just not shift past 3rd. ford will actually start in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd depending on the selector position, only acts normal when in in Drive |
