turbo drain line
I wanted to get the updated feed/drain line for my 03 but having read some things, I found that I would also need to change the oil cooler cover. Unfortunately I just bought my egr delete, coolant filter kit, coolant, restore, and a new oil cooler. I really dont want to have to buy a new cooler cover for almost $200. My question is can I just update the drain line? Is this a bad idea? (will it drain faster than my old feed line can supply it?) Or should I just leave well enough alone? Im going to have the turbo out to do the egr delete so I might as well update it, if its worth it.

Yes you can just change the drain line-the new one just isn't kinked to allow better draining. The new feed line is solid, not braided. I still have a braided one on my truck.
BTW-I have a used cooler cover you can have for 50 bucks if you want it-it is the later style. |

Ill have to let you know, i'm thinking I may just do the drain line and not spend the extra on the cooler cover and feed line if its not absolutely needed.
