Where should I install my transmission filter?

I have just received my Magnefine inline transmission filter and I'm really hoping someone can give me some advice on the best place to install this piece to make it most effective.

What a waste of money. Send it back and replace the factory inline cartridge filter. It os like a little toilet paper roll. That's all you need.

Yep. I did that with my fluid change, as well as the filter in the pan. The magnet in the pan had quite a bit of metallic residue on it. I am assuming it is clutch material. At any rate, I figure for the $15 I paid for the Magenefine, it cant hurt to have an additional magnet to keep this stuff from circulating through the system. At any rate, I was hoping someone with some past experience with this could let me know where the best installation site is. Thanks.
