battery symbol light

on the instrument panel is coming on sometimes .Owners manual says it means it is not charging properly. Anyone ever have this problem ? Should I be prepared to buy an alternator or could it just be a loose battery cable ?

99% of the time it your alternator going up, but you definatly should go through and make sure everythings tight, especially the batt. cables and the alternator connections.

Do it ASAP so you don't have to spend cash on an alternator and then an FICM. Have your bateries Load tested too.

I just had my dealer test my batteries and alternator at the same time. I ended up having 2 failed batteries.

I'm gonna guess its an alternator. Pull it and have it checked i'll bet its failing...

--DONT buy autozone or oreilly's. Buy a quality alt or it will leave you stranded..
