07 6.0 vs 99 7.3 input

Hi
so here's the situation a round trip from Vancouver bc to Colorado spring down emtpy and back with an 05 26ft searay sundance
the two trucks:
07 f350 with 3.5 down pipe to 4 inch cat back custom sct tunes from inovative no egr delete and stock head studs truck has 67xxx km's

99 f350 7.3 all stock with 120xxx km's just had the trans done two weeks ago and has sat for almost 3 years

the 07 6.0l is still under powertrain warrranty and extended 4 year aslo is day driven, the 7.3 has no warranty and is nit driven often
my question is which truck would you use for this trip and why?

I'd take the 6.0 myself. More confortable ride, more power for the mountains and with the 7.3 having sat that long who knows what's going to pop up and bite you trying to make that pull after not having driven it regularly lately.

Either one. Although, I have been known to take my 100% origonal untouched (down to spark plug wires and brakes) 60 Ford with 3:89s and a 3 speed on 500 mile trips. Kinda makes things fun!

What about selling the 99 for a 2010 6.4l or 2011 6.7? Any benifit with towing? The 6.0l is my truck and if I use it for this trip I'd like to put an egr delete in before hand but I dont have much time
