normal engine specs w/ edge
Hello all,
Long time powerstroke owner but just getting into learning the fine diesel engine specs... Just ordered my Edge Insight CS and will get it in the next couple days.. I know by reading other posts that EOT and ECT are very important and should be within 15 degrees and unloaded running at 60 mph should be around 190. What are other "normal" operating specs like tranny temp, fuel/oil pressure and anything else that would be relevant? Most of the time we are pulling our 34 ft fifth wheel and grossing 19,000. Would the readings be about the same when traveling and pulling our trailer? Cant wait to get my new toy and see how my truck is performing. thanks all in advance!! |

Ive been scanning other related posts and see several people talking about "delta"s. what is the delta and what should it be? Again sorry about this gradeschool stuff for most of you... i am just learning about all of it for the first time myself... For the last five years of driving my powerstroke I had no idea about how many variables there are going on inside the motor!! thanks again

I just got my new edge cs today!! was excited and plugged my new edge in and saw the menu showed nothing about diesel specs... upon closer inspection i realized my diesel version had been replaced with a gas version!!! It reads ECT, RPM and Engine Load stuff but nothing about turbo, EOT or transmission stuff!! I looked at the package again and the outside package shows diesel engine but that was not what was inside. I am so bummed as we are leaving tomorrow on a trip was was looking forward to reading my guages on the way... Will have to contact chux trux and send it back
