Which Tuner to Use?

I'm considering doing some aftermarket work on my 03 F350 6.0. I'm strongly considering is the Six-Gun with Speed Loader from Banks Engineering. I've heard they are a bit more expensive, but for all the extra they do for protection and safties i.e. before turbo temp not after, transmission, injectors, 6 levels of programming and what not that they are worth the extra. Can anyone shed additional light on Banks or who they have used, why they chose them, and satisfaction. Please be brutally honest. Thanks,

IMO SCT is the best for tuning on the 6.0L. Data monitoring is another story... ScanGuage is nice for data but it wont do EGT. I think the Edge CTS is a real nice data monitor, but not for tuning! Im sure there will be many different opinions on this subject.

SCT all the way. Over 90% of people with 6.0's are tuned with SCT's on here. Tried and true gauges never fail if you don't need all the do-hicky's with the CTS.

Who makes the SCT product? Keep in mind I'm a rookie to all this diesel performance stuff.

check out sctflash.com. SCT build programmers for 6.0L. Alot of guys want custom tunes, but SCT does offer tuners with preprogramed tunes that work well on the 6.0L.

I do all my own tuning. Just a turn of the distributer here, a turn of the idle set screw there and boom! Gap the plugs and she runs....lol

SCT tuners offer a lot of options for tuners and provide some really safe tuning options for 6.0 owners!
