Hot Shots Secret Oil Additive

Anyone ever heard of it or used it? Seen it in a parts store...and wondered if this stuff would work like the RevX stuff mentioned on this site so often. Its about $50 for a half gallon. Supposed to use entire bottle first oil change, then half bottle (one qt) every oil change after. Pretty expensive stuff...here is the link.

Pretty sure this stuff is on par with Rev-x.. Others will chime in though. I personally don't have any experience with it.

I put some in my truck with my last oil change. My truck was running fine with no issues. I put it in "just because". Within 25 km I noticed a power increase. Nothing huge but definately noticable. From what I understand it will help your injectors last longer. I am a fan.

Stick with the REV-X, it has a proven track record. There are a few around here that love the HSS however I don't think I want to add a 1/2 gal of anything to my crank case that is not 5W40 oil. REV-X is only a few OZ. This is one of those topics that people feel very strongly about on both sides. This thread could end up a million pages long because of it.

Not to pick sides but just as a reference PHP just posted some dyno results with and without Rev-X. Never used hot shot.
