tuner advice needed

I'm hunting a good used tuner and want one that will read engine codes, regulate temp., and one with a tow setting. What are my options? 2006 f250 King Ranch son to have eve delete, coolant filter and new oil cooler? Is there any special tools needed to replace oil cooler?

You want to get an SCT and some custom tunes AFTER you get yourself a good monitoring system like an Edge Insight. No special tools needed to do the oil cooler replacement.

and edge insight is gauges. You can get an edge Juice with attitude CTS which is basically an insight, but with adjustable power levels. Everyone is quick to blame edge for trans issues, but I loved mine. Made good, clean power with no smoke. I have an attitude/cts in my truck now, went to an sct, then back to edge for the power with the sct to tune the trans.

SCT tuners with custom tunes-- Look into the ScanGuage II nice data monitor for 6.0L owners.

SCT and custom tunes all the way. Nothing like a tune for YOUR truck. But gauges should be first before tuning.

Yep ScanGuage II from BulletProof Diesel comes preloaded with oil and coolant temp. Also has FICM voltage, ICP pressure IPR duty cycle. I love mine its quick easy and simple to use! Right now im running about 10 degrees difference so should be good for a while.
