Cool No BS Mileage

it seems there is a lot of mileage questions on here. there is too many variables involved to give someone an estimate based on their mods.

Heres how it went.
I'm running spartan hybrid race (150-170hp supposedly)
I used the same pump at the same station. Filled the truck up with straight no.2 all the way to the bottom of the threads on the cap, no foam. cleared the trip.

drove normally for a week driving to WORK ONLY! of course driving to different job sites. running usually 55-60 mph
letting it warm up for 5 min in the morning (its been 50-60 degrees) letting it cool to under 400 degrees when i get somewhere. at lunch it usually runs for 15 min with the air on while we eat lunch and bs.
drove a total of 327.8 miles.
filled it up after work at the same pump to the bottom of the cap. took 17.12 gallons. the math 327.8/17.12 = 19.15 im damn happy with that. i bought a work truck not a prius right

This week im going to baby it and see what kind of mileage i can pull. keep it under 10lbs of boost, under 2k rpm's. and use cruise. and NO WOT runs

im very curious how much of a difference my foot makes this should be good.

update*****

filled her up today. to the neck same pump.
i did some serious babying. lots of coasting no fast starts.

473 miles/20.95 gallons = 22.57

i honestly cant believe that number. but it has to be correct. i did everything to get accurate results

Good post...I can tell you for a fact that I've seen 23MPG+ down here in Florida.

I drive 59.6 miles (according to TomTom) one-way to work, six days/week. Approximately 40 of these miles are wide-open, flat, smooth road and the rest is a pretty smooth run from the highway to the airport with very little traffic during my travel times and average speed limits of 45MPH.

Did a little experiment of my own and ran two tanks through, both constant, at the same times of day to and from, in similar traffic and constant weather...I filled the tank to the bursting point each time (like always xD), and the weather was cool enough to avoid A/C usage.

The truck was virtually empty, other than one small box of cordless tools and my big a**.

65 MPH (Speed Limit, no WOTs): ~17.5MPG avg- trip at 512 at low fuel 'ding'
55 MPH (Granny Limit, no WOTs): ~23.9 MPG avg- trip at 697 at low fuel 'ding'

I'd kill for 19! I was using fuelly to keep up with it and I quit cuz I was tired of getting 14 mpg So now that I've recently gotten EGR deleted, turbo cleaned, and tunes. I hoping it'll go up, I've driven a 1/4 tank so far on highways and my trip is at 200 miles so I'm hoping for good numbers!!

Stock tune 06 FX4, Hankook 285 mud tires, EGR cooler delete though, and "airbox mod" 18.9 MPG's stock tune from SE WI to Muncie Indiana. I think it was around 600 miile trip one way.

On I 60 going about 72 the whole way, 55 and 65 when I got around Illinios and WI.
